The Grateful Kelvin series is NBC’s highest-rye single barrel program. 60% corn. 36% rye. 4% malted barley. MGP Indiana distillate aged 8–10 years in Kelvin cooperage barrels — the Glasgow-made barrels with heavier char and a distinct toasted vanilla and oak character. More rye than most bourbons. More oak character than standard MGP releases.

The Character
Consistent tasting notes across the series: heavy caramel, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, roasted nuts, rye spice. The 36% rye drives baking spice and pepper; the Kelvin oak adds toasted vanilla and dark fruit. The finish is long, drying, and distinctly rye-forward.
